“Coffee with the Rector” provides a regular, monthly space for conversations about what's important for our daily university live. We meet regularly in an informal setting to discuss research, cooperation, organisational challenges, university development and issues that arise in teamwork.

No registration is required – you can join at any time.
Who will be attending the upcoming meeting?
This time, “Coffee with the Rector” will be an opportunity to talk with the following invited guests and teams:
9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. – project leaders from the European Commission and project managers from the Horizon Europe Programme who received their grants in 2026,
from 9:30 a.m. – dr hab. Marlena Sakowska-Była, Associate Professor at the University of Lodz, Department of European Constitutional Law,
from 10:00 a.m. – the UniLodz Evaluation and Discipline Development Centre team.
We invite everyone interested in discussing topics related to projects, evaluation, research organisation and the broader operation of the university!
Why should you come?
The “Coffee with the Rector” meeting is a great opportunity to:
- contact the university authorities directly,
- ask questions and express needs,
- discuss issues of importance to individuals, teams or students,
- share ideas that can improve collaborative work.
It is also a space for building a university based on dialogue, cooperation and mutual listening – in accordance with the values that are important to our university.
How should you prepare?
No presentations or formal materials are necessary – the meetings are not held in a speech format. If you want to discuss a complex topic, you might consider having a short list of points (problem, need, possible steps) on you. This will help us get to the point more quickly.
