Konkursy IDUB UŁ – 8 000 000 PLN na badania naukowe

University of Lodz has just started internal research competitions funded thanks to participation in the competition under "The Excellence Initiative - Research University" programme (Polish acronym IDUB). There is 8 000 000 PLN to spend on scientific activity and achievements. The Vice-Rector for Research, prof. Zbigniew Kmieciak reminds that November 9 is the deadline for submitting applications for grants for young and experienced researchers. On the same day you can start submitting your applications for the two remaining competitions: Bonus for grant acquisition as well as Grants for equipment..

IDUB UL competitions are funds for experienced as well as young scientists, doctoral students and students. It is also an offer of a several-month or several-year contract with a salary at the University of Lodz for researchers from the outside of the University of Lodz, including individuals from abroad.

- I strongly encourage our scientists and researchers from the outside of UL to take part in the internal UL research competitions. For years the University of Lodz has been focusing on scientific projects and in the nearest future, it will be considerably developing with that respect. Thanks to these grants one can also see that Lodz is a good city to live in, to broaden your horizons and to meet Poles. I assure you that we are a very hospitable nation. Such an adventure can last several months or years, or who knows it may even end up with a permanent stay! We truly invite you to Lodz, Poland – says prof. Zbigniew Kmieciak, the Vice-Rector for Research, UL
