The Academia Law Hub project offers free individual legal consultations for international students who would like to better understand the Polish higher education and science system and learn how to effectively exercise their rights.

During the consultations, you can receive support regarding:

  • your rights and obligations as a student,
  • university regulations and internal academic procedures,
  • exams, credits, study progress and appeal procedures,
  • scholarships and available forms of support,
  • practical legal questions related to studying in Poland,
  • challenges connected with functioning within the academic environment.

The consultations are conducted by experts in higher education law, with academic and practical experience in supporting students and doctoral candidates.

  • mgr Przemysław Mroczkowski

Lawyer and economist, doctoral candidate at the University of Warsaw, specialist in administrative law and higher education law. Author of more than 20 scientific publications, including co-author of a commentary to the Law on Higher Education and Science. Former Chair of the Doctoral Students’ Council of the University of Warsaw and experienced expert supporting academic communities.

  • mgr Ewelina Tomczyk

Lawyer, doctoral candidate and researcher at the University of Wrocław. Author of publications concerning civil procedure, international law, and higher education law. Experienced in academic governance and doctoral representation structures, including activities within the Polish National Association of Doctoral Candidates (KRD).

How do the consultations work?

The consultations are held individually online via Google Meet. They are free of charge and conducted with full confidentiality. As the number of available places is limited, we encourage you to reserve your appointment as soon as possible.
