The Faculty of Economics and Sociology of the University of Lodz, together with the Institute of Design of the Strzemiński Academy of Fine Arts Łódź, are pleased to invite you to an exhibition presenting the results of their joint project: “Identyfikacja i projektowanie ecodesigne tymczasowych punktów składowania produktów ubocznych na osiedlach mieszkaniowych w Łodzi” [Identification and ecodesign of temporary waste storage points in housing estates in Lodz]. The project is an integral part of the activities included in the Circular Action Plan for the Lodz Region, implemented as part of the Frontsh1P, an international research project.
As part of the cooperation, students from the Faculty of Economics and Sociology conducted audits of 38 housing cooperatives, analysing best practices used in temporary waste collection points. Based on these audits, students from the Institute of Design developed small-scale architectural designs that incorporate waste segregation. The results of the project will be on display at the Implication Exhibition, which will officially open on 16 October 2025, at 3:00 p.m. at the Hall Gallery of the Strzemiński Academy of Fine Arts Łódź.
The project supervisors are Dr Jacek Chądzyński, dr hab. Zbigniew Przygodzki, Associate Professor at the University of Lodz, and Dr Małgorzata Walaszczyk from the Strzemiński Academy of Fine Arts, who also serves as the Exhibition Curator.
