In October, ELSEVIER invites researchers, scientists and all individuals involved in publishing activities and research development to participate in a series of free webinars delivered in English.

The training programme has been designed to support authors at every stage of the research and publishing process. During the sessions, participants will explore practical tools and proven methods that will help them collect data more effectively, analyse research results, prepare scientific publications and publish them in reputable journals.
Participants will gain practical knowledge and skills that can contribute to greater research efficiency and publishing success.

05 October 2026, 1:00 p.m. Safeguarding Research Integrity & Publishing Ethics: Addressing Current Challenges

In this session, we will cover: current research integrity challenges facing the scholarly community, paper mills: how they operate and why they matter, generative AI and its implications for research and publishing, elsevier's approach to safeguarding research integrity, our ethics and editorial policies in practice.
 

06 October 2026 10:30 a.m. Navigating research data: Exploring research, collaboration and impact with Scopus

In this webinar, you will learn how to use Scopus to identify potential collaborators and funders, as well as analyse how documents, authors, or organisations contribute to the Sustainable Development Goals. The session is designed for researchers and faculty, as well as administrative staff, research managers, and librarians who support research and institutional strategy.
