The events focused on film adaptations, a documentary and a discussion surrounding Piotr Domalewski's film "Ministranci" (2025). The workshops were structured as workshops and discussions, providing an example of the practical application of film studies knowledge in educational work outside the university walls.
Many people in our field of study connect their future with the profession of educator, so such classes are very good preparation for a future professional career

Even if someone isn't interested in this career path, most students appreciate any course that includes a practical element. This allows us to test whether it's right for us and also feel more confident in our theoretical knowledge. Audiovisual education offers an opportunity to reframe our acquired knowledge when we need to convey it in an accessible way to those outside the university, translating our academic jargon into the language of those outside the university.
The course "Audiovisual Education" was taught in the winter semester of the 2025/2026 academic year as part of the Film Studies and Audiovisual Media Studies study programme.
