- Library of the Institute of History, University of Lodz (hm. A. Kamińskiego 27a, ground floor) – free books are available next to the card catalogue, right at the entrance to the library and at the computer stations.
- Humanities Library, University of Lodz (Williama H. Lindleya 3, ground floor) – free books can be found on the table near the entrance to the library.
