University of Lodz has long been open to cooperation with business. In a dynamically changing world, we must constantly look for new development opportunities for our students and academic staff. The technology industry is one of the sectors of economy that are currently gaining the most importance, as shown by the experience of the last pandemic year. Therefore, we are happy to establish cooperation with Huawei, one of the leaders in the ICT sector in Poland, thanks to which our students will be able to obtain practical knowledge and new skills. We also believe that together we will not only be able to cooperate, develop young talents, but also create new innovative solutions

Both parties also declare their willingness to provide mutual services in the field of the exchange of scientific and technological experiences and the use of research apparatus, as well as promotion of Polish science and technology, for example by organisation of joint seminars and scientific conferences. In Poland, Huawei has not only an office, but also the headquarters for the entire region - CEE & Nordic. This offers additional opportunities for the students.
Huawei has long been making every effort to support the communities in which it operates. Therefore, it is a natural path for us to tighten cooperation with Polish universities to which we offer the best technologies and our own, globally developed knowledge. I am very glad that another prestigious university has trusted us. We will do everything to ensure that thanks to our partnership, after students of the Warsaw University of Technology, AGH University of Science and Technology, or the Kozminski University, also students of the University of Lodz gain new practical skills useful on the labour market, as well as fully use and develop their talents necessary to support innovation of the Polish economy today and in the future
– comments Ryszard Hordyński, Strategy & Communications Director at Huawei Polska.
Cooperation of the University of Lodz with business allows for the exchange of valuable experiences, enables recognition of the needs and expectations of employers and adapting educational offer of the University to them. Huawei joins the group of strong partners of the University, such as PwC, KGHM, Rossmann or Fujitsu.
Cooperation with a global company with an established market position is an extraordinary opportunity for our academic staff as well as for the students and graduates of the University of Lodz
