It's more than just planting…
After a recent workshop on the local ecosystem, we have decided to put our knowledge into practice! Events like this are a moment of collaborative action, where students and those working with their hands create an Eco Corner of Well-being – a place meant to serve us all!

Every shovelful of earth dug, every tree and shrub planted, is a tangible contribution to a space intended for relaxation, tranquillity and connection with nature. The work was carried out collaboratively and with immense commitment – without hurry, but with a sense of purpose.

These plantings are the result of cooperation, conversation and being together here and now. They will remain as a lasting green legacy of shared concern for well-being, the environment and the place we create together.
Let's take a break together in the Eco-Corner of Well-being in Lumumbowo!
What is the Eco Corner of Well-being?
It is an investment that is being created between the recently renovated Student Dormitory No. 9 and the allotment garden area on Pomorska Street. The work is financed by a PLN 20,000 grant from Veolia, as part of its "Together for the Region" programme.
The Eco Corner of Well-being is a natural extension and complement to the existing Water Corner in Lumumbowo. Together, these two projects will create a comprehensive system of green spaces that will not only enhance the biodiversity and aesthetics of the surrounding area, but above all, provide residents and students with a holistic experience of contact with nature, while promoting environmental education and sustainable development.
"Together for the Region" is a grant programme of the Veolia Poland Foundation, implemented as a competition for projects supporting the ecological transformation of cities and regions. The main goal of "Together for the Region" is to support local communities located around Veolia Group entities in Poland in implementing social projects in the areas of the Circular Economy (CE), Water Management and Energy Efficiency.
