The Lodz Jewish Books of Remembrance (yizkor buch) constitute the subject of the planned project and its goal is to critically edit them. Jewish Books of Remembrance were mostly created after World War II. Their authors are Holocaust survivors. In the case of Lodz, there are three such books, written in Yiddish at different times and in different places where the diaspora of Lodz Jews lived. The first of them was written during the war in 1943 in New York, the next one in Melbourne in 1974 and the latest one again in New York in 2005. All three texts are available only in the original languages, with short summaries in English.

The project implementation period is scheduled for 2024-2027.
