NDHU 2027 Winter Camp “Community Sustainability: Indigenous Culture and Innovative Tourism”

National Dong Hwa University (NDHU) in Taiwan invites students to participate in its Winter Camp, a programme that combines active recreation, sightseeing and academic learning.

The University of Lodz has been given the opportunity to nominate one student for a fully funded place on the programme. The funded place covers participation in the Winter Camp, accommodation, partial board and local transportation throughout the programme. Participants are responsible for the cost of flights to Taiwan, insurance and any personal expenses. The offer is available to students who have completed at least the first year of their Bachelor’s degree programme.

For additional participants, a discounted rate is available. The promotional programme fee is USD 1,300.

Hualien, Taiwan

About the Camp

During the two-week programme, participants will have the opportunity to:

  • learn about sustainable development and community sustainability;
  • take part in workshops and field-based activities;
  • experience local cuisine;
  • join cycling tours and kayaking activities;
  • build international networks and friendships.

Applications

Applications will be accepted until 14 October.

To be considered, applicants must send the following documents by e-mail to agnieszka.lukawska@uni.lodz.pl: a motivation letter; a certificate issued by the Dean’s Office confirming their current grade average.

First-year Master’s students are asked to provide their final grade average from their Bachelor’s degree studies. Applications submitted directly to the organiser, without being nominated through the University of Lodz, will not be considered during the selection process.
