New regulations concerning the design of the Electronic Student ID Card (ELS) will enter into force on 13 July. At the same time, the new student ID card blanks are not yet available, which means that delays in issuing plastic cards may occur after that date.
If you are planning to obtain a new student ID card or require a duplicate, it is advisable to submit your application no later than 12 July. This will allow the university to prepare and issue your student ID card according to the current design before the new regulations take effect.
After 13 July, it will no longer be possible to issue student ID cards based on the current design. Until the new blanks are delivered, applicants may need to wait for their plastic student ID cards to be issued.
If you already have an Electronic Student ID Card issued previously, you do not need to replace it – it remains valid.
While waiting for a plastic student ID card to be issued, students can also confirm their student status using the mLegitymacja available through the mObywatel app.
