The International Hub training will allow you to develop the skills necessary in a dynamic academic environment. The workshops will be conducted by qualified and experienced trainers-scientists from the Spokesmen of Science association. They are intended to increase the international visibility of the University of Lodz scientists, strengthen their potential for cooperation and build an international academic environment at the university.
The estimated duration of the training is 14 hours divided into 2 days, including a theoretical online part (6 hours) and an on-site workshop (8 hours). 75 people are expected to participate, divided into 5 groups of 15 people each. The needs of international scientists have also been taken into account – training courses for selected groups will be held in English. You will be able to sign up for the training using the registration form. Detailed information will be available soon.
Topics covered during the training:
- networking;
- self-presentation and presenting scientific achievements on the Internet;
- presenting a scientist on the Internet (in social media, scientific websites, websites, during online meetings);
- establishing and maintaining scientific contacts;
- online communication in a scientific context, using data that is available online;
- publishing on the Internet and legal aspects regulating these issues.
