The university was represented by dr hab. Radosław Olszewski, Associate Professor at the University of Lodz, Vice-Rector for Academic and External Relations; Prof. Ewa Walińska, Dean of the Faculty of Management; and members of the Faculty’s Dean’s Board. On behalf of Erste Bank Polska, guests were welcomed to the brand-new branch by, among others, Wojciech Leśniewski, Director of Erste Education.

A Symbolic Opening and the Beginning of a New Chapter
The joint ribbon-cutting ceremony performed by the Vice-Rector, the Dean and the representative of Erste Bank Polska symbolically opened the new space for the academic community and marked the beginning of a new chapter in the presence of Erste Education at the Faculty of Management. Thanks to this initiative, cooperation between the business sector and our academic community and student organisations is taking on a new dimension. It creates more opportunities for direct meetings, knowledge exchange and joint initiatives.
The new Erste Education zone is a perfect example of the benefits that long-term cooperation between the university and business can bring. Together with our partner, we are creating a place that genuinely responds to the needs of students and fosters learning, integration and relationship-building. For the University of Lodz, ongoing dialogue and joint projects with external partners remain a priority that brings tangible benefits to our entire community
– said dr hab. Radosław Olszewski, Associate Professor at the University of Lodz, Vice-Rector for Academic and External Relations.
We are delighted to open the new Erste Education zone at the Faculty of Management today. We believe this unique place will serve the entire community and inspire further initiatives undertaken together with Erste Education
– concluded Prof. Ewa Walińska, Dean of the Faculty of Management
We want to stay close to the academic community and create a space for meetings, conversation and development. This branch is another step in our cooperation with the University. We hope it becomes a truly vibrant and open place for students
– said Wojciech Leśniewski, Director of Erste Education.
Following the official ceremony, guests had an opportunity to continue their conversations over coffee and a celebratory cake. The meeting also provided an excellent opportunity for networking and for further strengthening relations between the Faculty of Management at the University of Lodz and Erste Bank Polska.
A Place for the Academic Community
The new space is available not only to the bank’s customers. It was created with the everyday needs of students and the entire university community in mind. Visitors can work comfortably, study between classes, plug in their laptops and stay longer without worrying about a drained battery. It is also a place to meet friends or simply take a moment to relax. The branch also offers an opportunity to speak with representatives of Erste Bank Polska about banking services.
We encourage all members of the academic community to visit the Erste Education zone located on level -1 of the Faculty of Management, University of Lodz.
