Tydzień Pracy Socjalnej z Social Force

We invite you to Social Work Week, a series of events organized by the Student Scientific Club, which will take place from March 18 to 22 at the Faculty of Economics and Sociology.

During this special week, we have planned many inspiring and educational meetings that encourage reflection on the role and essence of social work, but not only that. 

1. Discussion Panel on the Positives of Social Work, where experts and practitioners will share their experiences and observations on the benefits of social work. 

2. Screening of the film "Sorry, We Missed You", by watching this film, we will be able to better understand the essence of workers' rights (event in English)

3. Meeting on Social Work and Supervision in various countries, we will learn more about the differences and similarities in social practices and supervision systems in Poland, Germany and Great Britain (event in English)

4. Workshops on Recognizing Violence, which will help participants understand various forms of violence and how to recognize and respond to them. 

5. The Human Library is a meeting with people who share their life stories and experiences to increase public awareness of the diversity of life situations (event in English)

6. Migration Seminar, where we will focus on the challenges related to migration and social integration. 

Additionally, throughout the week we collect hygiene products for people in need, thus supporting the House run by the Association of St. Brother Albert. 

We also invite you to take part in the "Faces of Poverty" photo essay competition will also be announced, which will allow us to look at this issue through the prism of photography and visual narrative.
