Student UŁ członkiem Rady Dialogu z Młodym Pokoleniem II kadencji

Eryk Zywert, a student of the 3rd year of Law at the Faculty of Law and Administration, University of Lodz has been appointed by the Vice President of the Council of Ministers, Chairman of the Public Benefit Committee, prof. Piotr Gliński, for a two-year term as a member of the Council for Dialogue with the Young Generation of the second term.

Of 55 proposed candidates, the Chairman appointed 37 persons, whose application met the formal requirements, as members of the Council. Among them there is a student from the University of Lodz, Eryk Zywert.

The Council for Dialogue with the Young Generation is the first-ever Polish body for civic dialogue between the young generation of Poles and the most important state institutions. It was established in 2019.

The Council, in accordance with the Act on Public Benefit and Volunteer Work, is a consultative and advisory body to the Chairman of the Committee, and its tasks include in particular:

  • expressing opinions on matters related to the application of the Act in the scope concerning the young generation;
  • expressing opinions on draft legislation and government programmes relkated to the young generation;
  • initiating and supporting activities that aim at increasing the level of civic participation of young people in the Republic of Poland;
  • creating a forum for dialogue between NGOs and other social institutions and public authorities with respect to young generation;
  • supporting the activities of civic dialogue institutions acting for the benefit of the young generation, including children and youth, with particular emphasis on youth councils of municipalities.
