At the World Championships in Lisbon, the bronze medal (also historical – the first in history) was also won by Aleksandra Masternak and Patryk Urban in the Nage no Kata competition.

The competition of this rank was held after a two-year break due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Despite the still ongoing restrictions, more than 200 athletes from 26 countries around the world participated in the event in Lisbon.
