Sukces studenta UŁ w konkursie Huawei ICT Competition

A student at the Faculty of Physics and Applied Informatics, University of Lodz – Korneliusz Krawczyk, has won the main prize in the ICT Competition Poland 2021 - 2022, in the Cloud Truck - AI section.

The main prize in the ICT Competition Poland 2021 - 2022 was awarded to a student at the Faculty of Physics and Applied Informatics, University of Lodz – Korneliusz Krawczyk.

This is a very prestigious distinction due to the fact that students from several universities took part in the competition. Additionally, it was at a very high level. The participants had to demonstrate high subject matter skills. We are proud of the success of Korneliusz Krawczyk, supported by the lecturers from our university who encourage students to participate in ambitious challenges. Winning the competition is also a chance to take part in the World Final Competition in China in 2022.

The ICT Competition, organised by Huawei, constitutes a part of the ICT Academy project. Its aim is to develop the talent of students in the ICT (Information and Communication Technologies) industry, help in quick adaptation to the industry's requirements by mastering the latest ICT technologies, but also to equalize the level of knowledge and skills in line with global standards.

In June 2021 the University of Lodz signed a cooperation agreement with Huawei Poland. The cooperation concerns, among others, joining the global ICT Academy project. As part of the project, lecturers and students from the University of Lodz can participate in free training courses that end with an exam and a certificate. The agreement provides also for the possibility of conducting joint research projects, new specialist courses for students, knowledge transfer, internships and traineeships. 

University of Lodz is the first Polish university that Huawei Company has established cooperation with.
