Pressreader is a platform developed for the academic environment, which contains electronic editions of newspapers and magazines from around the world. It provides access to more than 7000 titles in 60 languages, from more than 120 countries.
The collection can be browsed by country, language and category or a search engine may be used. The articles can be downloaded via an app and can be read offline. The PressReader platform can be used on any device. It offers automatic translation and audio options, which significantly increases its availability and functionality.
The test access will last from the 1st to the 15th of July this year. Detailed information will be soon provided on the website of the University of Lodz Library.
