The Global Mini MBA - rusza II edycja programu

Faculty of Management, University of Lodz is launching the 2nd edition of the Global Mini MBA® programme – small business management for entrepreneurs from Belarus, who, through their education and the Western way of doing business, want to become part of free Europe.

Faculty of Management, University of Lodz has been implementing managerial programmes to support the development of competences of entrepreneurs and employees for years. In the 1990s, Poles benefited from the support of the University of Maryland in the USA, which taught us how to run a Western-style business. Today, it’s time for us to help others.

The faculty has been supporting the Free Belarusian University Foundation since 2020. The foundation was established on the initiative of, among others, Stanisław Szuszkiewicz – the first leader of the independent Belarus, Jan Malicki – the director of the Centre for East European Studies UW, Svetlana Alexievich – the Belarusian Nobel Prize winner, Ales Bialiatski – the well-known human rights activist and Andżelika Borys, President of the Union of Poles in Belarus, which has been persecuted by the Belarusian government.

At the request of the head of the Foundation – Alaksandar Milinkyevič, on 28 October 2022 the second edition of the Global Mini MBA® programme began – small business management for entrepreneurs from Belarus who, through their education and the Western way of doing business, want to become part of free Europe.

The programme consists of fifteen online thematic blocks and includes 133 lesson hours. The classes are conducted, among others, by trainers who, on a daily basis, are involved in the Mini MBA® Short Development Programme at the Faculty of Management, University of Lodz and who thanks to their commitment support the pro-European attitude.

The project is financially supported mainly by the European Union, as well as by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Education and Science.
