- Can death have any good in it?
- Does the end always have to mean loss?
Łucja Lange in the publication "Dlaczego śmierć może być dobra" writes about what is inevitable and at the same time repressed in contemporary culture:
"The questions that arise here are: why write another book about 'death'? Who needs a publication that speaks of something that cannot be described or known, something that lies beyond our senses and perception? And is it a book about death, or about life? The appearance of such a book means that there are “some” others, but they are usually read by a small group of interested people. For the rest, the existence of entire libraries filled to the brim with works in all languages of the world on dying, death, and mourning is completely unknown, and perhaps even not interesting. And I'm not surprised, because almost every media article, every report, every conversation begins with the statement that we don't talk about death because it's a taboo subject".
