The

scientific output of the Department of Logistics and Innovation staff

emphasises the interdisciplinary nature of logistics and takes into account its

multifaceted nature. It refers to problems occurring in all sectors of the

economy on a macro- and microlevel, as well as on a global level. Among the

research areas undertaken by the Department's staff are:

• environmentalism and sustainable economic development,
• circular supply chains and closed-loop supply chains
• logistics 4.0 and supply chains 4.0,
• smart cities and last mile logistics,
• e-commerce Logistics,
• logistics in health care,
• logistics services market,
• marketing and logistics customer service.
