BIOGRAPHICAL NOTE

In 2001, he graduated with a degree in Management and Marketing, specialisation in production Organisation and Management, at the Faculty of Organisation and Management, Łódź University of Technology, where he worked from 2002 to 2021 in the Department of Production Management and Logistics.

Also in 2001, he began doctoral studies at the Faculty of Production Engineering of the Warsaw University of Technology. They ended with the defence of his doctoral dissertation in the field of Economic Sciences in the discipline of Management Sciences, in 2006 - the title of the dissertation ‘Determinants of contract outsourcing in small manufacturing enterprises’. He has actively participated in Polish and foreign conferences. Author or co-author of more than 70 publications.

His research interests are mainly related to the topics of design for excellence (Design for eXcellence - DFX, design for logistics and supply chain (Design for Logistics (DfL) - Design for Supply Chain (DfSC), contemporary logistics concepts, quality improvement using selected methods, techniques and tools (FMEA, QFD et al.), rationalisation and improvement of production processes.

Completed the following postgraduate studies and training:

Completed four practical internships (total of approx. 15 months - as, inter alia, advisor to the management board on key projects) and two scientific-didactic internships. Expert of the Polish Quality Award.

Member of the Polish Production Management Association (long-standing president of the Łódź branch), the Polish Association of Organisation and Management Sciences, the Polish Ergonomic Association and the Polish Commodity Association.

President of the Sparta Waleczni Wiączyń Dolny Association ( spartawaleczni.pl ) and a football coach with a UEFA B licence.

Open-minded, communicative, creative, interdisciplinary, and fond of good books, music and art.
