The Molecular Spectroscopy Laboratory (MSL) is a unit within the Faculty of Chemistry at the University of Łódź. The laboratory conducts its own research activities and provides analytical services for faculty staff, PhD students, and university students, as well as external users. The results of scientific research carried out by the MSL team are published in international journals.

The Molecular Spectroscopy Laboratory (MSL) is equipped with two NMR spectrometers:

• 600 MHz Avance III NMR Spectrometer
• AvanceNeo Spectrometer with a Prodigy cryoprobe

For internal users, spectrum acquisition on the Avance III spectrometer is available only in self-service mode.

Services Provided

We offer services to the staff of the Faculty of Chemistry as well as external users in the following areas:

• Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) Spectroscopy
• Infrared (IR) Spectroscopy
• Mass Spectrometry (MS)
• UV-Vis Spectroscopy
• Spectrofluorimetry
• Polarimetry

Some instruments are available exclusively in self-service mode for trained faculty personnel. For external users, all measurements are performed by laboratory staff
