UNIC Centre for Teaching and Learning (UNIC CTL)

About

UNIC Centre for Teaching and Learning (w skrócie UNIC CTL)  supports the development of academic teaching within the UNIC network, which brings together universities from different countries. It connects and promotes knowledge, experience, and innovation in the field of teaching by creating space and offering support for academic staff. Within UNIC CTL, Academic Teachers and local instructional designers from all partner universities collaborate closely.

As part of the CTL:

  • we strive for stable and in-depth international collaboration,
  • we design and deliver a teaching and digital development program for academic teachers – the short, practical UNIC InterTeach workshops, aimed at expanding knowledge and exchanging experiences in areas such as Challenge-Based Learning, Education for Sustainable Development, Inclusive Education, Innovative Mobility/Virtual Exchange, and more,
  • we create and develop a series of open didactic workshops – Opened Workshops, intended primarily for academic teachers, PhD students, and others who conduct classes for students across all UNIC universities,
  • we develop various materials and documents that support and complement the knowledge being shared

Values and Mission

UNIC CTL is committed to fostering more inclusive, open, and modern teaching. We support the development of future-oriented competencies such as critical thinking, teamwork, empathy and we promote challenge-based learning grounded in real societal issues.
