Meetings
University of Lodz is a meeting place with the cultural world authorities – Nobel Prize winners, film makers or journalists. Multidimensional conversations present different points of view – the way the artists look at culture, their achievements and the world around them.
Festivals
Lodz is a city of festivals and the University of Lodz is committed to building such an image. For years we have been combining forces with the organisers of Fotofestiwal in Lodz and the Camera Action Festival. Thanks to our scientists and the university interiors, which are made available for the needs of these events, festivals and their recipients gain a new perspective that frees the mind!

Blog and films about books
Current issues and problems of the reality around us and the discussions focused on them constitute the subject of the texts published in the blog run by the Lodz University Press, as well as films made by us and posted on the YT publishing channel. Authors of various professions, experts, social activists, specialists from various backgrounds comment on the current events, present their own points of view and refer to the books published at the University of Lodz.
Reading events
Lodz University Press organises various reading events: meetings in cultural institutions, cafes, bookstores, during classes of Lodz Universities of the Third Age and in virtual space. It is also present at literary festivals and book fairs.
