UNIVERSITY OF LODZ FOR CHILDREN (UŁDD)

Over the years 2010 and 2020 as part of the University of Lodz for Children project we conducted more than 700 workshops and lectures for children – the youngest students of UŁDD and their caregivers.

The University of Lodz for Children is an educational project, which for ten years was addressed to children aged 7-12 years. Through the activities within the framework of the UŁDD we popularised knowledge of humanities, economic, social and natural sciences among the youngest.

The UŁDD included workshops and lectures for the youngest “students”, but also educational meetings addressed to their caregivers – in the area of education and formation of attitudes in the youngest. The classes of the UŁDD were conducted by academic teachers, members of the UL Student Science Clubs and representatives of institutions – partners of the UŁDD, among others:

  • EC1 in Lodz
  • Pinocchio Theatre in Lodz
  • Central Museum of Textiles in Lodz
  • "Se-ma-for" Museum of Fairy Tales.
