Held Functions:


Plenipotentiary of the Dean of the Faculty of Philology at the University of Łódź for Cooperation with Business and Employers


Duties:


  1. Timely development of detailed syllabi for the courses taught and their communication to students.

  2. Conducting academic classes.

  3. Providing consultation hours for students.

  4. Participating in scientific research conducted within the organizational unit of the University of Łódź and contributing to the publication of its results.

  5. Fulfilling responsibilities associated with the role of the Dean's Plenipotentiary for Cooperation with Business and Employers.

  6. Supervising bachelor’s and master’s theses.

Faculty of Philology

Cooperation with the broadly understood socio-economic environment. Supervision of the activities of the Business and Employers' Council of the Faculty of Philology at the University of Łódź.

Bio

The primary focus of research encompasses German legal and juridical language, specialized languages, business communication, semantics, translation studies, political discourse, culinary studies, and glottodidactics. The current research project investigates verbal and non-verbal communication on stock exchanges, as well as the metaphorical language of culinary recipes, using the example of travel-related television and online broadcasts. In the context of teaching, I specialize in specialized languages and translation. I also supervise bachelor's and master's seminars and act as an assistant supervisor for doctoral dissertations.
