Conducting didactic classes properly prepared in terms of content and methodology. The required number of teaching hours should be fully carried out.
In special cases justified by the necessity of implementing the curriculum, an academic teacher may be obliged to conduct overtime teaching classes (Article 131, paragraph 1 of the Act of 27 July 2005 – Law on Higher Education, Journal of Laws No. 164, item 1365, as amended).
Providing student consultations for not less than 2 hours per week (this also applies during examination sessions).
Participating in scientific research carried out within the organizational unit and contributing to the publication of its results.
Carrying out other professional tasks consistent with the profile of the organizational unit, including:
a) work in university, faculty, and other committees and teams – on the basis of separate appointments;
b) participation in organizational activities, such as the organization of seminars, conferences, workshops, student research groups, etc.;
c) cooperation with national and international scientific and teaching institutions;
d) performing other tasks related to the didactic process, scientific activity, and the promotion of the University, the faculty, and other organizational units.
Ensuring high quality of education and compliance of teaching activities with the principles of the internal quality assurance system.
Educating future staff by fulfilling the duties of supervising bachelor’s or master’s theses, as well as fulfilling the duties of reviewer and examiner.
Improving one’s professional qualifications.
Observing work discipline (punctuality, full use of class and consultation time, proper maintenance of didactic and scientific documentation, including electronic form).
Complying with the University’s regulations on health and safety at work and fire protection.
Maintaining official confidentiality during employment and after its termination.
Maintaining the confidentiality of information concerning personal data of employees and students, in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act (also after termination of employment).
Carrying out other official instructions issued by the direct supervisor related to professional duties and official tasks.
