I lead the work of the University of Lodz Occupational Safety and Health Inspectorate team. I directly supervise the work carried out by the employees of my team, with whom I support the community of our university every day in the formation of safe working conditions. We control the degree of harmfulness of working conditions and step by step strive to minimize them. The scope of our activities includes:

- conducting inspections of working conditions and compliance with occupational health and safety rules and regulations,

- participation in:

• handing over for use newly constructed or reconstructed construction facilities or parts thereof,
• developing internal orders, regulations and general instructions on occupational safety and health,
• determining the circumstances and causes of accidents at work,
• performing occupational risk assessments that are related to the work performed,
• the work of the Occupational Health and Safety Commission and the Crisis Management Team in connection with the COVID-19 pandemic.

- keeping records, completing and storing documents on occupational accidents, identified occupational diseases and suspected occupational diseases,

- storing the results of tests and measurements of factors harmful to health in the work environment,

- advising on:

• organization and methods of work at workplaces where there are dangerous factors, harmful to health or arduous conditions,
• selection of the most appropriate means of individual protection, work clothes, work shoes.

- conducting general and periodic training in the area of occupational safety and health.

- interacting with the doctor providing preventive health care for employees, with the social labor inspection and with the company's trade unions.

- and much more in accordance with the guidelines of the Council of Ministers' Ordinance on Occupational Safety and Health Service of September 2, 1997 (Journal of Laws of September 18, 1997).
