BIOGRAPHICAL NOTE

Lodz resident

Education:

MA in Economics - 2001, Faculty of Economics and Sociology, University of Łódź, specialisation: Investment and real estate;

PhD in economic sciences in the field of management sciences - 2011, Faculty of Management, University of Łódź; title of dissertation: Theory and practice of managing urban revitalisation processes

Since October 2015, assistant professor at the Institute of Environmental Management and Spatial Policy, WNG of the University of Łódź;

Many years of experience working in local government (City Hall of Łódź; Municipal Investment Board in Łódź); cooperation with municipalities preparing and implementing revitalisation processes. In her work she constantly tries to combine theory, science, didactics with activity for the benefit of practice.

Author of numerous publications and speeches at national and international conferences, largely on urban revitalisation,

Award of the Director of the Statistical Office for work related to the census, 2002;

First prize in the "Municipal Infrastructure" category in the Good Practice PPP competition co-organised by the Ministry of Economy for the Family House Revitalisation Programme, 2008;

Awards of the Mayor of Łódź: 2001, 2002, 2004, 2005, 2009, 2010.

Supervisor of the best Master's thesis in the field of Spatial Management. Thesis title: Development of the Zamkowa Wola housing estate in Rawa Mazowiecka, student Paulina Świstak (2018);

Second place in the poll for the best lecturer at the Faculty of Geographical Sciences according to graduates of the spatial management major in 2021.

Rector's award for a series of publications (2021).
