Organisational responsibilities include, in particular: Serving on the University's collegiate bodies. Organising conferences, seminars and other forms of academic activity. Coordinating the Polish Scientific Network of Labour Law and Social Security COOPERANTE.
Developing the Faculty's international cooperation, coordinating mobility programmes, initiating and overseeing national and international research and educational projects, and supporting the internationalisation of the Faculty's research and teaching activities.
Coordinating the Centre's research and organisational activities, developing national and international cooperation, and initiating and implementing research projects in the fields of migration, migration law and labour markets.
She specialises in labour law, migration law, social security law, and the legal implications of new technologies and artificial intelligence in the labour market.
She graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Lodz in 2011. In 2016, she was awarded a PhD in Law after defending her doctoral dissertation entitled The Legal Status of Persons Performing Work under Atypical Contractual Employment, prepared under the supervision of Professor Mirosław Włodarczyk.
Since 2016, she has been employed at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Lodz. She currently holds the position of Assistant Professor in the Department of Labour Law, Social Security Law and Social Policy. Since June 2023, she has served as Vice-Dean for International Cooperation and Projects at the Faculty of Law and Administration, University of Lodz.
Since 2016, she has also practised as a legal advisor.
Positions and expert activities
She is the Head of the postgraduate programme Legal and Social Aspects of the Functioning of Foreigners in Poland.
She cooperates with the Migration Analytical Centre of the Office for Foreigners. She is a researcher affiliated with the Migration Law Research Centre of the Polish Academy of Sciences and collaborates with the Immigration to Poland Research Section of the Committee for Migration Research of the Polish Academy of Sciences.

Editorial activities
She is Editor-in-Chief of the quarterly journal “Social Insurance. Theory and Practice”, a member of the Editorial Board of the Hungarian Labour Law E-Journal and a member of the Scientific Boards of the I talian Labour Law e-Journal and “Labour Law and Social Policy Issues”.
She serves as a reviewer for articles submitted to numerous Polish and international academic journals, including European Labour Law Journal, Praca i Zabezpieczenie Społeczne, Studia z Zakresu Prawa Pracy i Polityki Społecznej, Ubezpieczenia Społeczne. Teoria i Praktyka, and Przegląd Prawniczy UW.
Research projects
She has led numerous research projects funded by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education and the European Social Fund.
She served as the leader of individual work packages in the European Commission-funded projects MEAT.UP.FFIRE (2018–2020) and VIRAL (2021–2023). She also participated as a researcher in the iREL project (2019–2022). In addition, she has contributed to several international research projects focusing on new technologies, labour migration, and migrant working conditions.
Academic activities
She is the author of numerous publications in the fields of labour law, migration law, and social security law.
She has presented papers at dozens of academic conferences, nearly half of which were international. She has also organised numerous national and international conferences, including the Polish editions of the 5th and 6th Labour Law Research Network Conferences.
Service to the University of Lodz
Between 2016 and 2023, she served as the Student Disciplinary Ombudsperson at the University of Lodz.
She managed the European Social Fund project "DOBRY STAŻ – DOBRY START. Profilowane programy stażowe dla studentów WPiA UŁ" implemented during the 2017/2018 academic year (budget: PLN 2,427,360.77).
Between 2019 and 2023, she supervised law students participating in the Students' Power internship programme.
She also served as the Faculty of Law and Administration Ambassador in the Science HUB project.
Awards and distinctions
She has received numerous Rector's Awards of the University of Lodz for outstanding research and organisational achievements, as well as awards granted under the Excellence Initiative – Research University (IDUB) programme.
