Research: Behavioural and cognitive ecology (invertebrates and vertebrates); model organisms: jumping spiders (Salticidae) and other arthropods. Parasite–host interactions: blood-feeding arthropods (insects, arachnids) and their vertebrate hosts (birds, mammals). Biodiversity conservation, including in urban areas.
