POSITION DESCRIPTION
As part of my position I am:
- managing the recruitment processes of international students and conduct admission proceedings;
- carrying out promotional activities for audience abroad, shaping a positive image of the UŁ brand, alson within the framework of different projects
- preparing the content of promotional materials, conducting webinars, representing the University at educational fairs, etc.;
- preparing reports and statistical information on the number of students and international cooperation of the University for supervisory institutions for the purposes of reporting, audits and control in the scope of the Office's activities;
- drafting internal normative acts concerning the admission of international students and the handling of their studies;
- coordinating cooperation with educational agencies, preparing contacts as well as keeping track of the quality of the agencies' work;
- designing, implementing, balancing finances and providing substantive advice on development, educational, mobility and other projects dedicated to higher education, in particular those related to the internationalisation of the UniLodz.
BIOGRAPHICAL NOTE
I have started my work for the UniLodz since 2014. I have practical experience in contact with international students from every corner of the world. Being familiar with intercultural and intergenerational communication, I promote (also among different projects) the study offer at the UniLodz. I verify educational documents from abroad and conduct comprehensive recruitment proceedings.
I have participated in many trainings, webinars and workshops on higher education and its internationalisation both in Poland as well as abroad. I am constantly improving my competences by engaging in new types of tasks, and the duties I perform on a daily basis involve the necessity to constantly develop my skills and acquire knowledge, keeping up to date with the latest trends.
I am an author and manager, as well as a co-author and implementer of projects in the field of direct promotion abroad (Ukraine, Central Asian countries) and through social media, as well as through alumni. I have developed concepts for multilingual mobile applications and online tools for international students.
INTERESTS
I am a dad of three wonderful children and basically my interests can be exhausted by this description.
Nevertheless, due to concern for their future, apart from my professional work I am involved locally in community activities, creating projects together with my neighbourhood, caring for the development of my local community by chairing the Stoki-Sikawa-Podgórze Neighbourhood Council in Lodz city.
I love travelling and exploring the world, which is why I am fascinated by history, architecture and landscape.
