She graduated in economics and sociology with a specialisation in finance from the University of Lodz. Since 1996 she has been associated with the power industry in Łódź. She started her work in Łódź thermal power plants going through successive levels in the professional and organisational structure of the Heat and Power Plant Complex in Łódź, and currently Veolia Energia Łódź. Since 2011, she served as a Member of the Management Board, Chief Financial Officer, and since 2016 she was a Vice President of the Management Board of Veolia Łódź, being responsible for the financial issues in the company. Since 2018, she has been a President of the Management Board and the CEO of Veolia Energia Łódź.
She is responsible for the energy transformation of the Łódź region heating system towards its decarbonisation and achievement of climate neutrality with particular focus on the business, social and environmental sectors. As the CEO of Veolia Energia Łódź, following almost 115 years of Łódź energy sector history, she focuses on both technological and organisational development of the company to ensure its effective functioning in the changing market conditions.
Anna Kędziora-Szwagrzak participated in international management development programmes of the Veolia group. She is a licensed tax and accounting advisor certified by the Ministry of Finance in Poland.
She is a member of the supervisory boards of Polish companies in the energy sector and the Veolia Group in Poland.
