Maciej Dyl is a seasoned private equity professional. Currently, he serves as a Partner and Head of Private Equity at Shorooq Partners in the United Arab Emirates, where he has successfully launched and led fund focusing on mid-cap equity investments in the GCC region and minority equity opportunities in Europe.
Before joining Shorooq Partners, Maciej held multiple key positions at Mubadala Investment Company, where he executed more than 20 transactions across various sectors, including consumer goods, semiconductors, infrastructure, life sciences, energy, and chemicals. He played a pivotal role in deploying over $5 billion and generating over $10 billion in proceeds, demonstrating his expertise in investments spanning Europe, Asia, and North America.
Earlier in his career, Maciej worked at Credit Suisse Investment Banking in London, specializing in energy sector transactions.
He holds a Master’s degree in Finance and Accounting from the University of Lodz and has furthered his education through executive programs at INSEAD and the London Business School. Outside of his professional endeavors, Maciej is passionate about volunteering, squash, climbing, and marathon running.
