Prof. Dominik Strapagiel nagrodzony przez MEiN za wdrożenia

Head of the BioBank Laboratory at the University of Lodz and a scientist from the Faculty of Biology and Environmental Protection, Dr Dominik Strapagiel (UL Professor) has received an individual award from the Minister of Education and Science for significant achievements in the field of implementation activity. The award was presented at the Polish Science Gala in Toruń.

Professor Dominik Strapagiel is one of the researchers who have demonstrated achievements in the field of:

  • practical use of the scientific research results or development work, particularly in industrial, scientific or commercial activities,
  • commercialisation of the scientific activity results and the know-how associated with the results,
  • implementation of an original design, technological or artistic achievement.

In this category, there were 11 individual and team prizes, which were awarded to 43 people. Apart from Prof. Dominic Strapagiel, the awardees included:

  • Prof. dr hab. n. med. Natalia Maria Marek-Trzonkowska and dr n. med. Karolina Elżbieta Piekarska from the University of Gdańsk; 
  • dr n. med. Wojciech Placha, dr hab. n. med. Monika Piwowar and dr. n. med. Jacek Zagajewski from the Jagiellonian University in Kraków;  
  • dr hab. Anna Sikora, dr inż. Anna Detman from the Institute of Biochemistry and Biophysics, Polish Academy of Sciences; 
  • dr hab. Karol Olejniczak, Grzegorz Rzeźnik, Paweł Chabra, Iwona Gasińska-Mulczyńska, Bartosz Lendzion, Katarzyna Kamińska from the SWPS University of Social Sciences and Humanities;
  • Prof. dr hab. inż. Krzysztof Jóźwiakowski; Prof. dr hab. inż. Magdalena Gajewska, dr hab. inż. Michał Marzec, inż. Arkadiusz Malik, dr hab. inż. Alina Kowalczyk-Juśko, dr inż. Magdalena Gizińska-Górna, dr inż. Aneta Pytka-Woszczyło, Prof. dr hab. Danuta Urban from the University of Life Sciences in Lublin;

  • dr hab. inż. Bartłomiej Wacław Salski, dr hab. inż. Paweł Kopyt, dr inż. Tomasz Karpisz, Prof. dr hab. inż. Jerzy Krupka, dr inż. Adam Pacewicz, inż. Jerzy Cuper, inż. Mateusz Krysicki from the Warsaw University of Technology;
  • Prof. dr. hab. inż. Marek Iwański, dr inż. Mateusz Marek Iwański, dr inż. Krzysztof Maciejewski, dr hab. inż. Anna Chomicz-Kowalska, dr hab. inż. Grzegorz Mazurek, dr inż. Przemysław Buczyński from Kielce University of Technology.

Dr Dominika Kachorowska-Spychalska from the Faculty of Management is the second awarded researcher from the University of Lodz. She has been awarded for significant achievements in the field of organisational activity. We would like to offer sincere congratulations to both researchers!
