The safety of students, doctoral students, employees and visitors at the University of Lodz is a shared responsibility. We build it through responding to threats, looking out for one another and ensuring access to clear information when it is needed most.
That is why we have created Safe UniLodz – a practical hub of knowledge about safety at the university. The website helps users quickly find out how to act in emergency situations, who to contact, and what forms of assistance and support are available.
The website includes, among other things:
- emergency numbers and contact details for the University of Lodz 24/7 intervention patrol,
- instructions on how to respond in the event of fire, evacuation, aggression, a suspicious object, a cybersecurity threat and other incidents,
- information on available forms of assistance and support,
- contact details for units responsible for safety, OHS, data protection and psychological support,
- information on campus security, monitoring systems and the locations of AED defibrillators,
- news and events related to safety, including information about training sessions and workshops that users can register for,
- materials and guides to help prepare for emergency situations,
- a form enabling employees to report an incident after it has occurred.

If life or health is at risk, you should first call the emergency number 112. The University of Lodz intervention patrol operates 24 hours a day and can be reached at +48 780 701 424. It supports safety operations on university premises but does not replace the emergency services.
If you are an employee of the University of Lodz, please report any incident using the dedicated form once the situation has been resolved. Reports are used to analyse incidents and enable appropriate follow-up actions.
