TEATR NOWY – "ŚMIESZY CIĘ TO?" [DO YOU FIND IT FUNNY?]
The final preparations for the premiere are underway at the Teatr Nowy. "Śmieszy Cię to?" is a performance referring to the classic of the genre – a British farce based on a series of misunderstandings. Stanley, Mira, Paul and Caroline have found it increasingly difficult to live together under one roof over years. However, the family resemblance makes them look for similar solutions – each of them decides to escape from the other three... to the same place – namely, the Better Hotel. By an inexplicable mistake, the hotel staff places the entire family in one room. What are our heroes counting on when they seek asylum in a hotel? Will a series of crazy adventures allow

CHARLIE CINEMA – SPANISH CINEMA WEEK
Charlie Cinema invites you on a film trip through the Iberian Peninsula, from the capital Madrid through Galicia and the Basque Country to Catalonia and Andalusia for the 22nd time! The Spanish Cinema Week will run at the Charlie Cinema from 15 to 21 March. This is the only event in Poland devoted exclusively to the cinematography of sunny Spain, a festival of cinema for viewers in love with the sun, travel and the southern lifestyle. TEATR ARLEKIN – A PROPOSAL NOT ONLY FOR THE STUDENTS
"Nie jesteś za stary na Arlekina" [You're not too old for Arlekin] is a new proposal of Teatr Arlekin, which is addressed to students – a series of special events aimed at "disenchanting" the image of a puppet theatre as a place devoted exclusively to the youngest viewers. On selected weekends, performances that are universal in form and message will be presented.
On Saturday (20 April) at 4:00 p.m. we would like to invite you to take part in the first event in the series, the performance "Jedno oko na Maroko" [One Eye on Morocco], which touches on the topic of tolerance and acceptance of otherness. After the performance, there will be a contextual workshop, during which there will be a discussion deepening reflections from the performance. The event is addressed to viewers 16+.
LODZ FILM MUSEUM – "NÓŻ W WODZIE" [KNIFE IN THE WATER]
Last, but very important information for today! The Lodz Film Museum has joined the group of the University of Lodz partners. As part of the offer, you can benefit from discounts on all basic screenings at the Kinematograf cinema.
We also recommend the March special event taking place on 14 March (Thursday) at 5:00 p.m. –screening of "Nóż w wodzie". A short history of Polish cinema: "Nóż w wodzie" is the famous feature debut of Roman Polański (the first Oscar nomination in the history of Polish cinema), the only feature-length film shot by the director before leaving the country. The event includes screening with English subtitles, preceded by a lecture.

Finally, as usual, we would like to remind you of the most important rule – employees and students of the University of Lodz enter various cultural events with a discount. All you need to do is activate your account on the website kultura.uni.lodz.pl – logging in is exactly the same as in the case of the USOS system or the Employee Service. Next, choose the event you are interested in and book tickets at a lower price for yourself and your friends! An e-mail with details and confirmation of your booking will be sent to your university mailbox. Go to the ticket office of the selected institution with your reservation and use it to buy cheaper tickets.
