For the UL students, this year's final began with winning three matches and a certain promotion to the top eight of the tournament. Marta Łodej and Agata Ceyenowa (University of Warsaw) – the defenders of the title and the contenders for this year's championship title also got to this part of the event. And it was in the match against the couple from the University of Warsaw that our players had to recognize the superiority of their rivals. Fortunately, however, it was not the end of dreams about the medals.

After the victory over the pair from the Lodz University of Technology, Patrycja and Kinga got to the semi-finals. That is where they had to face defenders of the title form the last year. The UL pair advanced to the finals without losing a set and with a certain win.

The final match between the University of Warsaw and the University of Lodz started with a two-point advantage on the side of the couple from Warsaw. Our players, who were constantly in opposition, tried to even out the competition, but it was the Warsaw players who won the set 21:17.

In the second set, after a fierce start and long exchanges, the UW pair again gained an advantage. Despite great blocks of the Lodz team, the pair of Łoda Ceyenowa won the match 2-0.

Our volleyball players deserve a lot of applause and congratulations for the  achieved results!
