- I wish you a successful stay, you will come back with many experiences that will certainly develop you within the scope of your personal interests and possibly will also help guide your career path. I would like to thank the Ministry of Education and Science and the Polish Investment and Trade Agency for supporting our talented young people. Investing in our students always pays off, the project will certainly bring  benefits – said the UL Rector, Elżbieta Żądzińska

- You will gain experience that will be useful later, perhaps, when working in Poland, and if you go somewhere further, you will represent our country with dignity on the international arena, wherever you appear. The Expo fair is characterized by the fact that each country boasts about the best things in it. We share You, as those who will be Polish ambassadors – said dr Jakub Koper.

In the group of universities participating in the project, it was the University of Lodz that was the first to organise an information meeting and conduct internal recruitment. It was also the first to finalise the formalities. In several stages, a 25-person representation of the University of Lodz was selected, which will be directly involved in serving the guests at the EXPO. Dr. Jakub Doński-Lesiuk from the Faculty of Economics and Sociology, EXPO 2020 Dubai Ambassador on behalf of the University of Lodz is a coordinator of all the activities.

- We fight for the attention of the whole world. For Poland to be noticed. That is why we want to put You in the first line – smiling, creative, beautiful in their wisdom and very inspiring people. We know that we are taking to Dubai and entrusting a very responsible task to a group of people who are fully aware of the scale of the event – said Marta Zielińska.

EXPO in Dubai will be the first World Exhibition organised in an Arab country and, according to the organisers' announcements, it aspires to become the largest show of this type in history. According to the decision of the World Exhibitions Bureau, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Expo 2020 in Dubai has been postponed for a year and will take place between October 1, 2021 and March 30, 2022 under the slogan: Connecting Minds, Creating the Future.
