This year, the Lodz University of Technology is hosting the Perspektywy Salon Maturzystów 2025. Its Rector, Prof. Krzysztof Jóźwik, officially opened the event. The University of Lodz was represented by the Vice-Rector for Academic and External Relations, Dr Radosław Olszewski, an Associate Professor at the University of Lodz.
We're in academic Lodz, a city of many universities with diverse profiles, scientific, teaching and organisational specialisations, and a wide range of educational offerings. Choosing a course of study is one of the most important life decisions, so it's important to make it responsibly, consciously and based on data you trust. That's why a place like this is so necessary – it provides essential information and knowledge to young people. And, if I add that we're an academic community operating in a friendly city and a great environment – well, there's no better place to study than Lodz!

The annual Perspektywy Salon Maturzystów offers a wide selection of educational offerings from Polish universities, as well as an opportunity to learn about the specifics and conditions of study at individual universities. It also features a series of lectures, presentations and meetings. This year, for example, Piotr Rembowski, a student from the Faculty of International and Political Studies at the University of Lodz, presented "Failure as an Option of Success – or, about the University of Opportunities and the Man with Dreams". Piotr Rembowski is the producer of the Lodz of Many Cultures Festival, coordinator of the Living Libraries programme and a human rights activist, including a nominee for the Wiosła Kultury award. The University of Lodz presentation was delivered by the UniLodz ambassadors Julia Szczecińska and Julia Nowocień.
This season, the joint stand of Academic Lodz has already visited Gdańsk, where we visited the University of Gdańsk (4-5 September 2025). In September, we will be present at the Perspektywy Salon Maturzystów in the following cities:
- Wrocław, 15-16 September 2025, Wrocław University of Science and Technology
- Poznań, 17-18 September 2025, Poznan University of Technology
- Kraków, 22-23 September 2025 Kraków, Jagiellonian University
- Warszawa, 25-26 September 2025, SGH Warsaw School of Economics
