What does the Student Research Grants programme offer?

First and foremost, it offers experience in securing funding for research projects. Modern science increasingly relies on a system of national and international grants. Receiving such funding grants points that increase the chances of success in applying to doctoral schools. A completed research project should culminate in the publication of a scientific article or active participation in a conference. This allows you to build a scientific record already during your studies, which you can then use as your entry card to the next stages of your academic career.

How to participate?

Each edition begins in the second half of September. You can then register for the mandatory training. You can choose from several in-person or online dates. Participating in the training will help you successfully submit your application. As always you will have all of October to do that.

Where can you find information about the Student Research Grants?

The best place to find it is on the relevant website. Information about the start of each edition is sent out in the September and October student mailings, and we also post information on the University of Lodz social media.
