It has been decided to hold the event on two dates this year at the request of the promoted researchers themselves. In both cases, there will be one ceremony for all disciplines.
During the ceremony on 4 March, Prof. Rafał Matera, Rector of the University of Lodz, will first present postdoctoral diplomas to 41 people, and then 69 fresh PhD holders will receive their diplomas from their supervisors.
Two thousand six hundred and forty postdoctoral degrees and 6570 doctoral degrees have been conferred at the University of Lodz so far.
