The City of Łódź Award is one of the most prestigious distinctions granted by the municipal authorities. Its history spans nearly one hundred years, and among its previous recipients there are individuals particularly distinguished in the development of science, culture, the economy, and social life in Lodz.
The awarded distinction constitutes recognition of the team’s scientific achievements and its contribution to the development of research and academic activity. The City of Łódź Awards ceremony was held on 19 May 2026 at the Museum of the City of Lodz.
