For whom?
All members of our community are welcome: employees, students, and those pursuing a PhD degree. Anyone is welcome to drop in without an appointment – even for 10 minutes. The doors are open!
Why do we meet?
- to hear each other and understand each other better,
- to share ideas (scientific, organisational and related to studies),
- to report needs and seek solutions together,
- to cultivate the values of the #HumanUniversity: courage, curiosity, cooperation, commitment, and respect.
How does it work in practice?
The doors to Coffee with the Rector are open – you can come in, introduce yourself and initiate a conversation: with a question, an idea, an observation or a best practice from the faculty. You can also come and listen to others, ask questions or simply join in an ongoing discussion.We value every form of engagement.
What do we most often talk about at Coffee with the Rector?
- about everyday life at the University of Lodz (research, teaching, support),
- about cooperation between units,
- about issues important to students and doctoral candidates,
- about ideas that improve the quality of our shared work and life on the campus.
