Conference on Multilingualism in European Alliances

The University of Lodz is a member of the UNIC Alliance, but it is not the only such alliance in Europe. More than 570 universities from 35 countries are currently working together in 65 European University Alliances, jointly shaping the future of Europe and contributing diverse linguistic resources. How does this linguistic diversity impact communication in research, teaching, and administration? Is it feasible to put multilingual communication into practice within alliances – or is speaking English the only workable option? How can technological innovations support multilingualism and inclusivity in university alliances? We encourage you to take part in the UNIVERSEH 2026 conference, where participants will seek answers to these questions. The Call for Abstracts is open until 30 November 2025.
