CRASP Plenary Assembly at the University of Lodz and the Lodz University of Technology

Four thematic sessions will make up the Plenary Assembly of the Conference of Rectors of Academic Schools in Poland (CRASP), which will be held in Lodz on 23-27 October 2023. The meeting is hosted by the two largest universities in Lodz – University of Lodz and the Lodz University of Technology, as well as other universities associated in the Lodz Academic Partnership: Medical University of Lodz, the Strzemiński Academy of Fine Arts Łódź, the Grazyna and Kiejstut Bacewicz University of Music in Lodz and the Film School in Lodz.

The topics of the CRASP meeting will be dominated by the problems of higher education and science in Poland (sessions 2 and 3) – including: evaluation, science funding, exclusions in promotion procedures and coordination of university activities related to the situation in Ukraine. Session 1 will be devoted to CRASP internal affairs, and session 4 will be devoted to micro-credentials as part of the European Universities Alliances. The meeting programme also includes a speech by the Deputy Minister of Education and Science, Wojciech Murdzek, and the presentation of the Education Excellence Certificates awarded by the Polish Accreditation Committee.

The sessions will be held at the University of Lodz (Faculty of Law and Administration, 26 October 2023 – session 1) and at the Lodz University of Technology (Alchemium, 27 October –sessions 2, 3 and 4).
