Wytwórnia Club in October – two unique offers!
SIESTA w drodze [SIESTA on the way]
The aim of this musical project is to present artists known from Marcin Kydryński's Sunday "Pora Siesty" radio show. Marcin Kydryński personally hosts each concert. He is a radio presenter, songwriter and a composer, record producer, photographer, and the co-organiser of the Siesta Festival in Gdańsk.
The October installment of "Siesta on the Road" will feature Lura – goddess of the promiscuous faunus, grandmaster of the tender morna, and an icon of Cabo Verdean music. It's impossible to resist Lura – her art should be for adults only. Arguably the most popular, sensual and spectacular artist in the Cape Verde Islands, she was about to become a professional swimmer! Meanwhile, her friend, singer Juka, invited her to the studio where he was recording a new album and, for fun, suggested that she sang backing vocals on one of the tracks. Her voice was so exquisite, low and sensual, that Juka convinced her friend to perform a duet. That evening changed the history of music in the Isles.
The legendary band from Lodz "Rockowisko" returns to the stage after 40 years
The evening will feature performances by the winners of the Lodz Voivodeship Rock Bands Review, MOSKWA, ALL STARS, a band comprised of outstanding rockers and participants of the first Lodz "Rockowisko" festivals of the 1980s: Wanda Kwietniewska – vocals (Lombard, Banda, and Wanda), Grzegorz Kupczyk – vocals (Turbo), Kazimierz Barlasz – vocals (Cytrus, Exodus, Korba), Jerzy Styczyński – guitar (Dżem), Marek Raduli – guitar (Budka Suflera, Banda, and Wanda), Arek Kluczewski – guitar (Cztery Szmery), Mietek Jurecki – bass guitar (Budka Suflera), and Artur Malik – drums (Lombard). In the final part of the event, the star of the evening will appear on the "Wytwórma" stage – the legendary band KOMBII, led by Grzegorz Skawiński.
