The webinar is organised by the International Commission on Radiological Protection (ICRP) and run by the Radiation Safety Institute of Canada (RSIC) and Cameco.

With the growing use of nuclear energy, related advancements in medical technology and even the possibility of commercial space travel, the role of radiation protection professionals has never been more important than it is today. The webinar will outline the possibilities of diverse careers in radiation protection and the work of organisations that are supporting the next generation of professionals in the safe and ethical use of nuclear energy, so that the benefits of its use far outweigh the risks.

The webinar "Shaping the Future of Radiological Protection: Engaging the Next Generation" will be held online via the Zoom platform on 1-2 April of the current year between 12:00 p.m. and2:30 p.m.
